Hello everyone !

Rather than allow this meetup group to dissolve, I chose to keep it alive by becoming its organizer. Let me first introduce myself: My name is Alex Ohanyan. I am an entrepreneur and graduate student at Harvard.

I would love this meetup to become not only a way for fellow Armenians to socialize, to network, and to meet outside the more traditional venue of the church, but perhaps also a forum and a vehicle for Armenian causes.

I think a meeting at the end of September is (over)due. If you have suggestions about a place to meet, an activity, or anything else -- please let me know!

How about the last Friday of the month at either the AGBU building on Mt. Auburn St., NAASR in Belmont, or one of the churches?

Another possibility might be one of the retaurants in the area, Armenian/Middle Eastern or not, simply to just sit down, talk and do some planning.

Hi! I am new to Boston, I just moved here from Los Angeles to go to graduate school at BU. I will definitely attend the get together towards the end of September. I still don't know my way around very well, so I am open to doing anything as long as it means I will be around some Armenians again. I live in the South End, but it seems like with public transportation I can get around pretty easily. Thanks, Alex, for making sure this group doesn't just stay inactive... :)
